I have a tiny pantry which has wire can shelves on the inside of the door (I really need space!), so I am thinking of replicating this inside a large cabinet door. Would you mind measuring the depth it takes up....like from the surface of the inside of your pantry door to the top a spice jar and email that measurement to me? I need to see if I can make it work in a cabinet door (maybe a less than full cabinet!), and don't want to buy all the supplies and it be too deep. Thanks!!!!! Great post! Hi there. We don't tend to have our pantry so full that the shelves are full all the way to the front edge of the shelves. But even if we did, I still think it would be fine. The canisters aren't that much taller then the depth of the inner door frame, so it's all good. Liz,
