I’ve written about the Power of Surprise in the past, and specifically referenced Andy Nulman.
Andy commonly discusses the power of surprise – where ever they happen.
Now he’s using that same power to promote his new book – by giving a bunch away!
I’m looking forward to his latest book, whether I get it for free, or if I don’t make the cut, be sure I’ll be buying it.
So Andy, if you’re reading this – love your latest Pow move!
If I make the cut, you can email my book to:
Gary Sherman 7744 Yaupon Drive, Austin (in the great state of Texas) 78759
Rock on.

Sitting on my front lawn tonight was yet another large phone book (Yellow Pages). I don’t use them. Ever. Yes, I know I can recycle them, but I would rather not get them in the first place.
How do I stop delivery of physical phone books?
I looked on the phone book itself, no sign of any “unsubscribe” or “remove me from your mailing list” link or phone number. Although there was a website for ordering more phone books!
Anyone know how I get off the phone book distribution list? Guess I could do some Googling on my own…

My wife has a good post on healthy eating, and more specifically, healthy cooking. I can certainly attest to the fact that she is a great cook, and it doesn’t seem like it’s “good for me”. When I was a kid, if my mom said it was good for me, you could be sure it tasted like ass. Think liver, brussel sprouts, and poached fish. Sorry, Mom.
Now my wife does most of the cooking (yes, I’m a lucky man), and she’s posted recipes for some of our favorite meals on her website. It seems like people think all we eat is grilled chicken breast & broccoli every night. While we do eat grilled chicken breast & broccoli (which I actually like) occasionally, she prepares unbelievable meals that I never expected to be “good for me”. Her chicken chili is one of my favorites. Yum!
